As the time of the 37th edition of Iran-Azerbaijan International Cycling Tour is approaching, we thank God that everything happened during these years has been full of blessings and that God has kept the tours large caravan in his love and affection. Not only was there no problem in terms of the organization and no unrelated issues happened, but what has occurred is development, growth and prosperity.
The Cycling athletes of East Azerbaijan Province have so far qualified for different Olympic seasons and participated in prestigious foreign leagues. This shows the high influence of this international event on the people and the cultural inspiration of the tour among the general public. This sports field and the brilliance of the champions in various provincial, national and international competitions, inspiring the organization of Cycling Tours in several Iranian cities, are the fruits and blessings of this Iran-Azerbaijan international Cycling Tour.
Now that, by Gods grace, we have set foot in the field of holding the 37th edition of this prestigious Tour, and the tour has passed through the amateur and semi-professional stages in its growth and is moving towards becoming a professional cycling tour, we will devote our efforts to promote the status of this tour, its excellence and the quantitative and qualitative growth of the teams.
Apart from these, we honor the memory of Mr. Akbar Gahrkhani, the late founder of the Tour. I wish to celebrate the former champions of the Tour. I also wish an inclusive success for the high official of the Ministry of Sports, the honorable Province Governor, and the hardworking members of the tour staff and the Organizing Committee from the grace of the almighty God.
